What's it like to walk from Mexico to Canada? Join Sugar Daddy through his daily journal and experience the joys and sufferings of five months on the PCT. ...Journal entry from the last night on the trail, camped at the U.S./Canadian border...
What were you doing 150 days ago? It seems hard to believe that I was sticking my foot through a fence into Mexico, and starting to walk north to Canada. It was all very exciting then, just starting on a great adventure, not really knowing what to expect. I had no doubts about being able to hike the whole way, but I was concerned about the snow and river crossings in the Sierras. It came as a great surprise to me how hard it was to continue hiking when I was tired. There were many times I would have liked to quit, but I knew that if I did quit, I would regret it later, so I was determined to finish. 100's of photos.
