Vera Jordyn hasn't been to the beach in eight years. Why? She won't say, but it's something to do with the seaweed. However, the day has come for her to return to the beach. With the help of her girlfriend Savannah, Vera means to confront her tragic past. But something in the ocean is just itching for her return; it calls for her, and its essence haunts her daily life. So when Savannah dies on that very beach day, the police come looking for answers. Will Vera be able to account for what really happened that fateful day?
