The Teacher

The Teacher is about Marla, a young teacher who is teaching first grade. She is also a hopeless food addict. She cannot stay away from sweets. She is also messy. The kids in her class are always trying to catch her doing something she isn't supposed to. When she finds out that one of the kids in her class is in an abusive home, she tries to help. She is dragged into a situation that lands her in jail and almost costs her life. This book has funny parts and sad parts.
