This book is a collection of philosophical essays, citations and thoughts. The book had been both influential and controversial with its radical and bitter observations on many subjects such as theology, society, etc. It had inspired many in the past and Ambrose Bierce's The Devil's Dictionary was said to be the result of such inspiration. It is a source for reflection, inspiration and unconventional thinking. The book is more a collection of essays arranged in alphabetical order of topics than a conventional dictionary.
