When Communication Becomes Pedagogy
Truth, Conscience and the Human Being Before the System
Usually printed in 3 - 5 business days
When does communication become pedagogy?
Not when a message has merely been sent, received, answered, or archived. Not when a person has been persuaded, corrected, classified, or brought into line. Communication becomes pedagogy only when it protects the human being’s felt freedom to choose his relation to truth.
This book examines what happens when that freedom disappears. A citizen becomes a case. An entrepreneur becomes a licensing issue. A patient becomes a diagnosis. A witness becomes suspicion. An author becomes a customer. A human being is translated into a frame before he has truly been received.
Across chapters on inner space, labels, persuasion, conscience, systems, empathy, protocol, and definition, the book asks one central question: does communication still serve the living human being, or has the human being become a function of communication, procedure, and institutional self-preservation?
At its core, this is a study of truth, conscience and the human being before the system. It is written for readers willing to observe how language opens or closes reality, how politeness may mask non-receptivity, and how learning begins only where freedom remains.
Communication becomes pedagogy where words remain answerable to life.
