A simple game that recreates portions (or all) of the Battle of Gettysburg, PA July 1st through 3rd, 1863. Rules are very simple, with the rule on the left side of the page and an example, or graphic detailing the rule on the right side of each page. Both armies are shown with over 32 pages providing a detailed Order of Battle (OOB) organized by Confederate Divisions and Union Corps. Also included are full color "ACW Paper Armies" game pieces (must be cut out or copied) that represent infantry, cavalry, wagons, limbers, officers, and artillery. Also included is a set of cards that can be copied, cut out or ordered for download (PDF) to be printed onto standard business card blanks. This game is an excellent learning mechanism for teachers and eductors trying to show what warfare was like during the American Civil War. Simple to learn and easy to teach, this game includes everything needed except for some 6-sided dice and rulers.
