B is for Bear Volume 2 (2026 Edition)

This reader (second of two volumes) builds on the "A is for Apple" textbook by providing short reading passages with oral questions and multiple choice comprehension exercises, grammar, punctuation and phonics review. It is a very unusual textbook for children in that it also provides an introduction to poetics and literary terms. An accompanying teacher's guide contains useful instructional material for individual or classroom instruction.
