Annie is a girl living in the Northwestern United States. When she meets the Native Americans, she finally feels seen and heard with them. But when a conflict breaks out between the Native Americans and the White Settlers breaks out, she is troubled. The Native Americans are being treated differently, and she wants to stop it all. For one, her family is treating the Native Americans like they are a completely different species of humans. Luckily, she meets someone that helps her stay strong and stand up for herself. In the end, will she be able to stand up to her family and prove them to be wrong, or will she not succeed?
