Not Your Typical Viking Story

Nick Haaland just can’t catch a break. Right as he’s about to attend his first high school sleepover, his dad forces him to fly to Norway to meet mysterious relatives for Yule instead. Even worse, the reunion turns out to be more like a boot camp than a retreat. And, just when he thinks he has gotten through the worst of the trip, his goddess mother suddenly appears to assign him a quest. Now, Nick must team up with his cousins, a mythology geek named Astrid and an intimidating survivalist named Erling, to prevent Ragnarok.
