Jellyland is the brainchild of Yandi, a talented young writer and artist. This multi-lingual book is accessible to English, Afrikaans, Xhosa and SASL (South African Sign Language) readers. Bridging the divide between the hearing and the Deaf world with her gorgeous illustrations and inspirational story, Yandi makes reading accessible to four language groups, allowing each group the opportunity to discover and appreciate each others language. There are currently two books in this "Jellyland" series, which can be read as separate stories or in sequence. May there be many more, as children wait anxiously for more delicious Jelly stories!
