This story tells of the life of a wealthy man in the future named Kindersin. The man was at first shocked and sent to grieve over the death of his wife, Kyra. Later on, he finds himself charged with conspiracy. As he escapes the security forces of the Lunar Colonies, Kindersin finds the death of his wife somehow linked to the charges he was accused of. Kindersin has to amke the choice, either to find the truth or fall to the hands of the shadow of Death that will consume him.
