Mister Blasted

Repeated lightning strikes result in a drifter losing his mind. The lunatic is desperate to evade his perceived tormenter and will sacrifice any life - man, woman, or child - in his cowardly desire to appease the Dark God of Electricity. In a separate universe, a reclusive FBI consultant genius living in his parent's basement has invented a device through which he can view alternate realities. He's been conscripted to find the serial killer, the only problem being that the drifter has vanished - disappearing into another dimension. Meanwhile, our world is now populated with two versions of the same man: one a recovering alcoholic substitute teacher and the other a delusionally paranoid serial killer. As thrilling parallels careen toward their penultimate climax, it's revealed that nature allows for duality - at a cost.
