Neurogenesis is a depiction of a future in which the great philosophical question of religion is considered, where characters from mythology come to life in a technologically sophisticated world which bears great resemblance to our own. The protagonists slowly unwind the mysteries that shroud reality, revealing the true nature of divinity, and eventually come to terms with a truth which bears influence from every culture in our world. It combines elements from psychology, modern science, religion, and mythology; inevitably, it is forced to admit similarities between the subjects. It is an attempt to express a certain balance between science and religion, and an eventual concession to the point that they both serve a purpose.
