Feature Funnies /Feature Comics was home to many important, popular, and creative series' during its 144-issue run, but only one feature appeared in every single issue – BIG TOP, the story of “Bags Bros. Mammoth Show” and its cast of hilarious characters. BIG TOP was a newspaper strip reprinted for almost 14 years like clockwork, and starred Butch, the well-meaning, forgetful, lady-chasing clown. Butch was aided by a never-ending set of circus and and friends, bringing just a little bit of humor to every monthly installment of Feature Funnies (#1-20) and Feature Comics (#21-144).
