PLANET COMICS was known for its long-running character series, including some who ran for many years consecutively (Flint Baker, for example, appeared in 60 of the first 61 issues). As the Golden Age classic approached its final issues, as the reading habits of the audience changed, PLANET COMICS turned to stand-alone one-shot stories. The final three issues (#71-73) contained these self-contained tales, and – until today – they were the only remaining stories not gathered in their own specialized collection! All original!
