THE MASKED RIDER became a late-Western hero when he returned home to find his uncle shot, and his ranch lost to a ruthless band of criminals and con-men. Bronc Randall donned the mask to seek justice for his family, and kept it when he realize that his calling was to fight against those who would bring disorder and violence to the range. Unlike many other masked heroes, THE MASKED RIDER lived in the very late 1800s, so he was in many ways one of the last vigilantes of the Wild West. He appeared in Startling Comics #1-17 - - and they are all here! We've also included an earlier MASKED RIDER character, who appeared for just one story in Exciting Comics #2, and a text story for yet another MASKED RIDER from Best Comics #2! NOTE: As with most Golden Age reprints, his book contains some pages which are aged and weathered. If you are looking for stories which look like they were printed yesterday, this may not be for you; however, they are excellent examples of Golden Age stories, no low-resolution fiche pages, and we believe you will enjoy their imperfect authrneticiy.
