This book is the second part of the series. It recounts the struggle after the establishment of the provincial revolutionary committee. The administration of Tan Furen, who was sent to the province by the Central Committee and later was assassinated. Zhou Xing took over. He could handle the situation and died in 1975. His successor was nominated by Deng Xiaoping and betrayed the latter under pressure. It was a melee.
