Mark Powers lives with his wife and daughter in San Francisco. With his daughter, Megan, he co-authored the children's story, Tara's Tiara, set among the mighty coastal redwoods. They are now ruminating about a sequel, that takes their character, Tara, to the giant sequoias and a Yosemite-like valley. Mark is also currently working on a teen adventure, The Golden Boy.
