Dave short is a professional actor, writer, director, pantomime dame and YouTube content creator. He started his performing career in 1989 as a Pontins Bluecoat and, eventually, entertainments manager. An unexpected step sideways saw Dave turn to acting, where he soon enjoyed regular annual roles in pantomimes across the length and breadth of the UK - quickly (and unexpectedly) stepping into the role of the much loved pantomime dame. Dave often describes himself as YouTube's most prolific pantomime dame, and regularly uploads clips of his past performances, plus vintage archive television programmes from past and present famous faces in panto dame roles.
