Al Plastow has been serving the technology asset management professions since the early 90's. As co-founder & charter CEO/president of IAITAM, Plastow developed & delivered three of the four original professional development & certification programs in Software Asset Management, Technology Asset Management, & Negotiating Technology Agreements. In 2004, Plastow began designing a more robust program in professional credentialing. He is now the CEO of The Institute for Technology Asset Management - the industry's first non profit community of asset management professionals. The Institute develops & delivers the only training, credentialing, & management programs based upon a publicly available & standardized practitioner Body of Knowledge. These programs focus on applying cost-effective, supplier- & product-neutral, common sense solutions to asset management problems in the operational real world. Plastow also teaches Project Management at The University of Akron.
