Emeritus Professor of Business, the University of Redlands, California (1984-99), A. Keith Barnes authored the academic book, "Management Maturity; Prerequisite to Total Quality Management," published by University Press of America in 1994 and the forthcoming monograph "Effective Management," as well as dozens of articles on a wide variety of business subjects. He holds a doctoral degree in Organizational Management and an MBA, both earned at Pepperdine University. His undergraduate work was completed in England (Mechanical Engineering) and in Canada (Psychology). Before becoming an academic he was a senior executive with the J. I. Case Company which was then a part of the Fortune 500 Corporation, Tenneco, Inc. In addition to his novels, Barnes also writes feature articles for an international magazine on a wide variety of topics in the realm of business, economics and public policy and he is available to other writers and organizations as an editor/writer/consultant.
