Zipho Dywili is a poet who was born in Cape Town and moved to Gauteng in 2004. when she was in grade 8 she started doing spoken word poetry at school assemblies and then went on into turning her poetry into music. when it came to her poetic music she had collaborated with deep house DJ Rooticaldeep and they went on to release an album they had been working on for ten years and finally released it in June 2018. Zipho then started writing poetry for leisure and focused on blogging which then she had created her blogs because she loved to write. in 2018 she founded Maboneng Weekly which focused on club life and the party lifestyle while also helping street hustlers market their goods on her site. Zipho has always been a writer and went on to study journalism which she never completed but because of her calling to writing she never quit.
