Bea was born in Germany in 1964 and grew up in Freudenberg with her three siblings. When she was 19 years old, she emigrated from Germany. This happened for various reasons; boredom (mainly in her own life), lack of ambition (career-wise), opportunity (kinship abroad) and a gnawing wanderlust to see the world. She spent the next decades on three different continents: South Africa, New Zealand and Australia. During these years she had many life experiences and reports about them in her autobiographical novella, “In the Name of I”. Bea is currently writing another interesting book: “I was one of many slaves”. The setting is ancient Egypt. A slave falls in love with his Queen's servant, which drastically changes his life.
