Cecil Hampton has spent most of his professional career as a college professor and researcher of medical microbiology. Dr. Hampton is an accomplished trick roper and horseman. He enjoys trail riding, history of the Old West, baseball, SCUBA diving, sailing, guitar, and competing as a senior athlete in the javelin, discus, and 800 meter dash. He is a Masters All American track and field athlete in the javelin.
