Bill has been a Chicago area writer since 1971. Besides prolific newspaper features, his work has appeared in such diverse publications as the Reader's Digest, and Cricket Magazine. His character Roderick "Bobber" Maxwell, the Chicago prizefighter turned private investigator, first broke into print in the September, 1978, issue of GEM Magazine (they called the story "Just for Kicks"). Bill lives in the south suburbs of Chicago.
