I write stories so people can take their minds off the dragging anchors of everyday life. A good story can take you to another place and another time. Given our nonstop modern environment, we need that relief. Most of what I write at this point takes place in tropical settings because that is what I love. Island thieves, castaway crooks and seductive sirens all fight for your attention on the pages. Eventually, your eyes get heavy and you whisk off to a summertime daydream on a sandy beach. These are easy books made for a lighthearted read. If any of my writing encourages a smile, promotes thought, or simply makes someone feel momentary happiness, then I feel as though I have succeeded.
