Justin Amery works as a doctor in family practice and has a specialist interest in children's palliative care in which area he has taught and published widely. He is based in Oxford, UK; and previously in Kampala, Uganda, where he wrote the textbook 'Children's Palliative Care in Africa'. He also has an interest in professional development. He is a professional coach, appraiser and trainer, and wrote 'The Integrated Practitioner' series (Radcliffe Press). He is married, with five children, 3 dogs, 2 cats and is an avid, if frequently disappointed, Arsenal fan.
