Cedric grew up in south London in the years immediately after the end of the Second World War. He read English at St. Catherine’s College, Oxford before heading north to teach in several comprehensive schools for more than thirty years. Married with three grown-up children, he now lives on the outskirts of Leeds. A lifelong interest in uncovering and relating previously untold, intriguing and unusual tales lies behind this, his first novel.
