Cheryl Jimenez was born on July 14, 1955 in Hartford, CT. Raised by her parents, Anthony and Adeline Monesanto. She has one younger sister. She wrote the book "Her Silent Cry", based on her true life story. She suffered domestic violence and abuse at the hands of her own husband. The story not only delves into the kind of abuse she and her children suffered, but it also provides a safe way for women to get out of any abusive relationship. She wanted to help others who may be suffering in the same or similar situations. She felt her book would not only strengthen other women but also give them hope that there is a safe way to get out and that life does go on. Things do get better. No one should ever have to suffer abuse, especially at the hands of someone they love. If not for yourself, do it for your family and/or children. Cheryl is currently residing in Northern California with her three adult children.
