Colleen P Stacey, a retired court and parliamentary reporter with many decades’ experience has now focused her unique writing skills to be a published author. Colleen’s own personal life struggles and her dogged determination to achieve and be successful have had a strong influence on her story-telling. She has woven into her writing many of her own life’s experiences and hard lessons learned. Born in Australia to a newly-arrived immigrant family in the 1950s, Colleen vividly remembers how hard life was back then, and she has assimilated a lot of these experiences into the life of Cokkels.
