R.W. ""Doc"" Boyle lives in New Castle, Colorado. Mr. Boyle is a historian and western entertainer. He is a portrayalist who presents the historical figure and western legend Doctor John Henry Holliday in his one man show, "Doc Holliday Live: How It Was!" He can be found on summertime weekends roaming the midway at Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park (Glenwood Springs, CO) taking photos with the visitors and regaling them with stories from the life of the deadly dentist. He is a big game hunter and ultra long distance shooter with the Friends of Billy Dixon organization. His interests include gardening, RV travel, reading, and playing 12-string guitar. Other writings include cowboy and railroad poetry. He is currently working on a western history reader and several science fiction novels. The Great Galomp is his first children's book.
