Esperanza Rivera writing as Hope Riverbank grew up in Huntington, Long Island. She and her brothers grew up in a home that was filled with love and lots of fun. She wanted for nothing as she grew up with a silver spoon in her mouth. Living a shielded life as a youth proved to be her downfall when real life came as a complete surprise. By 17, she found herself pregnant and a single mother. She worked hard waiting tables to make ends meet making sure that her daughter had as comfortable a life as possible. After a failed marriage and much struggling, she and her daughter moved and began a new life in the sunshiny state of Florida. There she met her second husband who has, to the present, been her pillar of strength through both happy and trying times. She now has another daughter and a son who bring her much added joy. There’s no such thing as perfect, but all five live quite nicely in the growing town of Deltona, Florida. Happily ever after may exist after all.
