A resident of Suffolk County, New York, this author previously worked as a mortgage inspector and home health aide. Curtis served too, as a custodian and background actor. A disability side-lined his employment prospects and independent publishing serves as income assistance. In college, he studied graphic design and creative writing. He illustrated, arranged the page layouts, and designed most of his book covers. Mr. Jackson is the author of the 2018 blog memoir, Curtis on the News: The Unfinished Chronicles: 2008-2013. The Long Island author addressed the deeply sensitive and tragic subject of suicide in his candid, pictorial short story, One Blue Eye Jake's Twilight Boardwalk featuring images of Fire Island Lighthouse Beach at Robert Moses State Park. Many of his photographs are featured in Google Guides, most of his locality. He has also became known for producing coloring books, notebooks, and vibrant photo essay publications, such as Late Afternoon in the Hop and Bark Park.
