Cynthia Strauff is the recipient of numerous prizes and awards for her poetry and prose. A native of Baltimore, she holds graduate degrees from The Johns Hopkins University and the University of Chicago. She lives in North Carolina with her husband and her cats. Specializing in historical fiction, she is the author of Another Sunday, and Echoes of the Alum Chine. PortraitS, her first poetry chapbook, is set for publication in Autumn 2017.
