Suzanne Ickes is a registered dietitian with over 25 years of experience. She has worked in hospitals, nursing homes, private practice, corporate wellness, nutrition research, county health departments, and consulted for a variety of community based projects. The Soluble Fiber Solution was developed during her 10 years of work in private practice. It was in the setting of private practice where she had the ability to work with patients over a period of time and check results with lab values. Suzanne donated much of her time to see patients with elevated LDL cholesterol often at no charge so that she could verify the effectiveness of the interventions and tweak the educations materials that eventually became the book "The Soluble Fiber Solution".
