We believe there are too many good books that do not get published and promoted well because the current trade book publishing bookstore model can, with rare exceptions, no longer effectively support new and midlist authors. We believe that eBooks will be to publishing what iTunes and mp3 files are to music, and streaming video is becoming to television and film. We believe that a high level of commitment and low overhead and production costs are the key to authors gaining more access to the marketplace, and getting higher royalties for an inexpensively produced product.
