My journey has not been easy. Losing my husband, who was my best friend, in such a tragic way brings me to tears every day. However, with the support of my family, friends, neighbors, and the community, I was able to turn my personal tragedy into a public (and personal) triumph. I was part of a history making aviation bill (HR5900) along with other Flight 3407 family members. Although my journey was rough, heartbreaking, and tragic, God blessed me in many ways and my husband, and the other 50 victims, legacy of "one level of aviation safety" will live on.
