'Compelling', 'Haunting' and 'Vibrant' Francisco Letelier is an artist and writer born in Chile. His work bridges continents and weaves together history and contemporary experiences, creating powerful and memorable work. Letelier crosses disciplines and cultures while building bridges between nations, individuals and communities. His work has been at the forefront of human rights, cultural and environmental struggles. Awarded the prestigious LA Artcore award in 2010 in recognition of his contributions to Southern California culture, Letelier was the recipient of the 2012 Siqueiros Award by The Social and Public Art Resource Center.
