With over 30 years in education in the UK and overseas Neil is now a freelance Education Consultant and trainer. His work has taken him to several countries in Europe, the Middle East and China. He spent over 10 years as a head of school in the UK and The Netherlands, the latter in a British International School. Away from work he can be found sailing in the Solent or around the Ionian. He owns a few olive trees and enjoys the fruits (or rather the oil) of his labours. He holds a BEd and a MA in Educational Management. He is a Freeman of the Company of Educators. He is now based in the UK with his wife. Typical Teachers is his first collaborative work with D.A. Skalos.
