Heather Mead was born in Lansing, Michigan, but has spent most of her life in Indiana. She is the daughter of Lance and Laura Mead. She began writing at a young age and since then has written one-acts, a script, novels, short stories, song lyrics, and her favorite poetry. The enjoyment aside, Miss Mead writes as a way to help, comfort, and teach others in various aspects of their lives. She is starting her fifth year on her school newspaper as a life assistant editor, and has been on a school magazine staff for three years. Currently, she is studying Creative Writing, Professional Writing, and Psychology at Olivet Nazarene University.
