Joseph Dillard has been researching ways to awaken by accessing one's inner compass since he was thirteen, when he took a trip to the Middle East with Hugh Lynn Cayce, son of the famous medical clairvoyant Edgar Cayce, when he was introduced to dreamwork and meditation. With a background in psychology, comparative religion, and philosophy, in 1981 Dillard developed Dream Sociometry, a dream character interviewing process, based on the work of J.L. Moreno, a younger contemporary of Freud's. Dillard's work and texts demonstrate how healing, balancing, and transformation occur naturally when we have the tools to listen deeply to our own emerging potentials.
