As long as I can remember, I wanted to understand why God created sex for marriage but no one really talked about reasons to wait other than God says wait.There are plenty of answers in the Bible but adults seem to be so embarrassed. I just thought if sex was a good thing and we needed to wait, could we just talk? So when I became an adult teacher of youth in the church, with parents’ permission, I began to talk with youth and singles and then couples about what God has to say about sexuality. After thirty- five plus years of teaching and counseling, it was time to write a book. This book is a teaching tool with a workbook form in the back full of interactive ideas to help chisel the idea of each chapter into the memory of the learner. It is best used with a group. But certainly can be used with parents and child for courage to begin to talk or a youth seeking answers on their own.
