Kumail Ali, born in Santa Barbara, California, has always been fascinated with writing. He is among quite the young when it comes to writing novels. Only 18 years of age at the completion of book one, Kumail began writing this novel in March of 2010. By November 2012, his first novel, the Goudelock Empire, was complete and sent for publication the following month. Kumail plans on continuing to write works of fiction as well as nonfiction. At the moment, he plans on writing an entire series for The King of Peace and Justice. His ultimate ambition is to one day see all of his novels of the King on the big screen. As of 2012, Kumail studies at the California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, seeking a major in chemical engineering and a minor in materials engineering. He lives in Newbury Park, California.
