The artist and poet Lancelot Chancel a lover of nature & the British Isles was born on the island of Tobago and has taken much care in publishing his first collection of graphically illustrated poems in his book Modern Man-Beast - Vol 1. Lancelot has been honing his writing skill for over a decade and diligently illustrated, wrote and published the book himself in August of 2018. The new book is aimed at starting intimate conversations about gender-equality within families and couples by exploring the hidden emotions, experiences and thoughts of men that they often hide from friends, family and even themselves; which may contribute to men feeling cut off or detached from the lived experiences of the women with whom they share their lives. Lancelot is also currently working on his first collection of artwork for exhibit which will centre around themes of objectification.
