Lisa's short stories have been published in print anthologies and seen on the web in eZines. Her story, “The Third King” won Second Place in Behold's short story contest, and her story, "Immortal Beloved" was a finalist for a Bram Stoker award. Immortal Beloved has been reprinted along with a never before published follow-up story, Subito Piano, in the Dead Souls anthology, from Morrigan Books. She was also selected to be one of the authors in the 2009 Ladies of Horror anthology.
