About
Michael Davis

Michael A. Davis, the author of Tyme To Throw Stones, is a graduate of Haverford College and Harvard Law School. Born in Tuskegee, Alabama in 1952, Michael grew up in the late 1950s and the 1960s experiencing and enduring the turbulent times which forever changed race relations in our nation. He wrote Tyme To Throw Stones to capture a time in America’s history which is rapidly diminishing in our rear view mirrors – a time when even young children fought, suffered and sacrificed to overcome the long-lasting limitations and other effects of prolonged racial prejudice and exclusion. Michael practiced law and earned partnership with a prestigious Philadelphia law firm, Blank, Rome. He also served as Chief Counsel for the Pennsylvania Department of Education; Senior Counsel for CIGNA; Vice President and Chief Counsel for INTRACORP; Vice President and General Counsel for Wordsworth Academy; and currently is General Counsel for The School District of Philadelphia.
