I found my talent for writing when I was in grade six, in 2010, and during high school, occasionally wrote short stories in classes. Funny thing, though, I had never wanted to be a writer, never considered the possibility of it. In my childhood, my mum taught my brothers and me not to discriminate against those who are different. She took part in looking after disabled people. Going through grade one, I had warts. Horrible stone-like growths on my hands, my knees and eyelids. I was told that I might go blind, the eye circulation would be strangled. We prayed for it, and they went away. I have gone through depression a few times because of my differences, and the way others saw me. I later found out I had ASD, (Autism Spectrum Disorder), though, I was "High Functioning", and some people refused to accept me for it. So, unknowingly, I wrote my series, "Mutant on the Run", around the idea of discrimination, from someone who had been there and felt the depression. Read more in the books.
