Maddalena De Leo, a well-known Bronte scholar, is on the Editorial Board of Bronte Studies for Italy. She is translator of the first and only Italian edition of Charlotte Bronte's Juvenilia. She is also the author of 'Un'@amica dal passato' (2006), a novel in Italian for young students and 'La risposta di Afsin' (2005), of many articles on the Internet and is the winner of some literary prizes.
