Meg Morrison is a high school English teacher in Chicago. She wrote "Deaf Girls Don't Dance" in 2007 when she was a sophomore at William Fremd High School in Palatine, IL. She later went on to earn a B.A. in English and history with a minor in journalism from the University of Notre Dame.
