Michelle R. Metje, BSW, MSOD wrote The China Cabinet as a series of short stories written from the perspective of a modern woman. It tells of a woman's struggles as well as successes. The China Cabinet is full of stories centered around her roles as a Daughter, Sister, Spouse, Mother, and individual. In July 2013, her oldest son was murdered at the age of 22.
